"Mrs Elorza is one of those teachers you never forget. She was my sons 4th grade math/science teacher. Being the active boy he is she worked so well with him to keep him focused in class and created an effective learning environment for him. As we were forced to transition to online school with the COVID-19 outbreak Mrs Elorza made the transition so simple. She spent many hours preparing a digital classroom which she set up in almost no time. Her website, zoom classes, and even effective surveys made the transition online simple and stress free for parents. My sons favorite thing was the digital field trips she created. Even while in the house on quarantine Mrs Elorza made their school time fun and engaging. I would recommend her to anyone." - Naomi Fowler

"My daughter was lucky enough to have Mrs.Elorza for her 4th grade teacher. She was such a blessing! She sets clear expectations and holds her students accountable for all that they do. She truly cares for her students and goes out of her way to make sure that when she's done with a lesson, her students actually understand- and if they don't, she works with them until it clicks. She loves her students as if they are her own babies and does everything in her power to make sure they succeed. She makes her students feel loved and confident. She also makes herself available for parent communication so that they always know what's going on. Most people have that one extra special teacher during their formative years and I know that for my daughter and many other lucky students Mrs. Elorza is that teacher!" - Jessica Morgan

My daughter Brianna’s 4th grade teacher Mrs. Elorza taught my daughter the love for learning.

Brianna was super excited to go to school every day.

I have been so impressed with all the time, effort and energy Mrs. Elorza has put into each student and her amazing classroom.

She loves each of her students in such a loving way. Mrs. Elorza has taught many students patience and how to have a positive impact on their education. One of Mrs. Elorza’s strength is dealing with any unfortunate events (COVID) She has handled it with patience, integrity, and creativity to help everyone learn while the students were learning at home.

She has even pushed my daughter Brianna out of her comfort zone to compete in here very first Math Bowl.

Brianna had the BEST fourth grade experience because of Mrs. Elorza’s love for teaching.

Thank you, so grateful for positive impact on my daughter,

Jennifer Mayes (Brianna Mayes, mother)

Mrs. Elorza was more than a teacher. I loved how she engaged Henry in class to keep him from being bored. His confidence was really boosted by her teaching methods and engaging him with teaching lessons she introduced. He loved being challenged to do better. Mrs. Elorza was consistent with her expectations and pushing him to do better. It takes a super special person to be a teacher who really cares about the students abilities to grasp what is taught. I never worried about Henry’s safety and that was because of how she approached her job. Mrs. Elorza was always inspiring with her positivity. My son loved 4th grade more than any other grade and it had everything to do with her leadership and positive attitude towards school. Thank you for caring for him and his future. - Vicky Pettys
